Distance   .5 mile (.75k), approximate

Route   Swim is one loop
Swim starts and finishes on the white sand beaches of Disney's Fort Wilderness' Clementine Beach
Swim course is rectangular
Swim in a counterclockwise direction around the buoys
     

Water Temperature   Water temperature is expected to be in the mid 80s
Wetsuits will not be allowed

NOTES:  

Swim will take place in the pristine waters of beautiful Bay Lake located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Campground.

There will be NO PRACTICE SWIMMING allowed during the entire Race weekend

Turnaround at end of Epcot Center Drive
East onto Epcot Center Drive

Right onto Cast Services Rd
Right onto Fort Wilderness Trail

NOTES:  

The bike course will take place entirely inside the Walt Disney World® Resort property. It is a closed course with no sharing of roadways with traffic.

BICYCLES ARE NOT ALLOWED on Walt Disney World® Resort Buses, Watercraft, Monorails or Event Shuttles.

    Run a single loop course
Run along the bike paths and roadways inside Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
Finish in the grassy area next to Pioneer Hall located inside Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Saturday, Sept. 4th

Bike Racking Times: 10:00am - 5:00pm

  • ALL BIKES MUST BE CHECKED-IN AT THE FORT WILDERNESS CAMPGROUNDS TRANSITION AREA BY 5:00PM on Saturday, Sept. 4th.
  • There will be NO bike check-in allowed on Race morning.
  • Once your bike has been checked into the Transition Area, you cannot remove the bike until after the start of the Race. .
  • For protection against the elements, you may cover your bike seat and computer, but not your entire bicycle.
  • You will have access to your bike on Race morning to make final mechanical adjustments and to inflate the tires, but the bike cannot leave the Transition Area.
  • Bike mechanics will be available on Race morning should you need assistance.
  • DO NOT OVER INFLATE YOUR TIRES! It is best to inflate your tires on Race morning to avoid a heat related blowout.
  • Overnight security will be provided at the Transition Area
