Swim:

Distance:  1/2 mile (distances are approximate)

Course Route:

  • The swim course is counter clockwise flat triangle on beautiful Lake Travis.
  • You will exit the water and run approximately 100 yards to the transition area.

Water Temperature: 

  • Will be announced the week prior to determine if wetsuits may be worn.

Bike:  

Distance:   12 miles (distances are approximate)

Course Route:

  • The bike course is two six mile loops totaling 12 miles.  
  • You will exit transition area and immediately be presented with a short steep hill.
  • Walking your bike is allowed.  
  • The bike course offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the Texas Hill Country.   Nearly the entire course is made up of gently rolling hills but nothing more than 150-200 yards in length.  
  • Use caution as you ride back down to the transition area as there may be ladies starting their bike ride as you are finishing.

NOTES: Helmets must be worn at all times while on your bike, including before and after completion of Race.

Run: 

Distances:   3.1 miles (distances are approxmiate)

Course Route:

  • The Run course travels through the Highland Lakes Camp property and is made up of both pavement and trails.
  • The trails will not be technical and most will be on grass.
  • There will be gently rolling hills on the run course.

  • All Participants are required to pick up Race Materials between 10:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. 
    on Saturday, October 2nd.
  • Relay Team members must be together to pick up Race Materials
